    27/01/2012 - FRANCHISE EXPO SOUTH Miami:  three members of Italian businesses took part to showcase their dealings to potential franchisees

     

    Franchise Expo South took place at the Miami Beach Convention Center January 20 to 22 in Miami, offering international businesses that want to start their own business the chance to meet franchisors and learn about franchising, amid projected growth in the industry.

The Master in Retail Management presents itself as a unique opportunity to create professionals capable not only of form but also to quickly bring innovative managerial contexts in which they need for modernization of strategies, from a traditional focus on the activities of distribution to business planning, market analysis, management control, marketing and product channel. The Masters will take place at the Centro Giovanile of the City of Rieti (RI), will begin on 30 January 2009 and provides for a maximum of 30 participants. The formula adopted by the Master of higher education is the weekend and will last 1,500 hours. Attendance at training is mandatory, absences are allowed a limit of 20% of total hours. At the end of lessons in the classroom, will be awarded the Diploma of the first level of Master in Retail Management only candidate who has complied with the obligations and activities, passed the tests intermediate and final test. Participation in the master right from the recognition of 60 credits issued by the European Roma through a special agreement with the Institute Carolus Magnus.

The master, totaling 1,500 hours, provides:

- Details on course for a total of 66 hours;

- A period of 480 hours of internship at companies, institutions and institutes of relevance on the national territory;

- Self-study activities and / tutoring in FAD for 614 hours.


Admission requirements

Candidates of both sexes who want to participate in the master must hold a university degree in economics, social, statistical or other equivalent, or be in possession of a diploma, or must have experience working in the field of retail management Subject to consideration by the Commission of the Master (Council of Teachers), her original and the existence of an adequate degree of culture.


Deadline for submission of applications December 20, 2008

Interested candidates are invited to the Masters to complete the application form for admission, which will be accompanied by an updated curriculum vitae and a Personal Statement of about two hundred words in which the candidate will outline the reasons for accessing the program. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Curriculum Vitae et Studiorum and will face a test of admission consisting of a written test and an interview aptitude.


Costs

The cost of the Master of higher education in Retail Management, thanks to collaboration with the Municipality of Rieti (RI) and Territorial Development Consortium, is 4,000 euros, of which 25% due to start the course at the Institute Carolus Magnus for the remaining part to the Administrative Office of Master in 3 bi-monthly installments. Each candidate will play a stage of 480 h in companies of great importance in the national territory.
